Pioneer Publications had been established on 1985 and has been serving the society for more than 26 years.
The founder of this institution, Sri N.D. Nandagopal is a writer, publisher and a journalist. His father, Sri N.C. Daivasigamani, was a popular Children writer in Tamil. He was the president of TAMIL CHILDREN WRITERS ASSOCIATION(SOUTH INDIA). He was one of the founders of that association. He was running a Tamil Book Publishing house called PILOT PUBLICATIONS in Chennai, capital of Tamilnadu in South India.
Nandagopal, himself a writer, started his publications by name, 'Pioneer Publications' in Chennai with the blessings of his father. The Pioneer Publications is proud to have more than 100 books both in Tamil and English. It is famous for its books on carnatic music, Mantras for Andhra Brahimins and 15 exclusive books on Homam. The latest book which was released in Chennai book fair, 2012 and impressed many readers was 'Narasimmar Thiruthalangal' in Tamil.
